Driver CPC Training Courses
Introduction to Driver CPC Periodic Training
The EU Directive for Driver CPC Periodic Training came into effect for PCV drivers on 10th September 2008 and LGV drivers on 10th September 2009. All drivers, new and existing, will need to complete 35 hours periodic training every five years to ensure that their Driver CPC is current. This is known as Periodic Training.
Only courses that have been approved and are being delivered by training centres that have been approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT), counts towards the Periodic Training requirements. Periodic Training is designed to confirm and expand, on the existing knowledge of each driver.
TAL Training is approved to deliver periodic Driver CPC training for LGV licence holders. Our J.A.U.P.T. approval number is: AC00611.
